Run CurrPorts, a free and portable application for Windows, will display all open TCP and UDP ports and connections on its interface. Select a connection and you can view its properties, close it, generate a report, and more. This is, in a nutshell, the functionality you can expect to get from CurrPorts.

As mentioned above, CurrPorts is a portable application for Windows. This means that you will not have to install anything on your PC. What you will have to do is download an 80KB archive, extract its contents, and run cports.exe. That is all you have to do to get started with CurrPorts.

Run CurrPorts and it will gather information on all open TCP and UDP ports and connections; then it will present a list on its interface. The list includes lots of useful information: process name, process ID, protocol, local port, remote port name, remote address, process path, and more.

Above this list there’s traditional File Menu and a toolbar with buttons for various functions: close selected connections, save selected items, generate HTML report, and more.

Right click an item on the list and you will be presented with a context menu that lists lots of functions: close selected connections, kill processes for selected ports, copy remote IP addresses, generate an HTML report, access the properties menu, and more.

CurrPorts is free software. If you would like to show your support, you can do so by making a donation.

View and manage all open TCP and UDP ports and connections with the free and portable application CurrPorts.

Pros

CurrPorts is a portable application; it doesn’t have to be installed. All open TCP and UDP ports and connections are nicely presented on the application’s interface. Close selected connections, kill processes for selected ports, and other useful functionality is presented on the right click context menu. CurrPorts is freeware (consider making a donation).

Cons

None that I could think of.
